Obituary

Judy Johnson Evans

Judy Johnson Evans, 72, passed away on October 15th, 2024, in Autaugaville, Alabama, after a short illness. Judy was born and reared in Lexington, Mississippi, by her parents, L.B. and Margaret Waddell Johnson, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brother, John Dale Johnson, husband, Hughes Thee Evans, and grandson Gerry Moncrief. Judy was a retired nurse.

Judy is survived by her children, James Alvin Brown, Jr ( Teresa Ann), Daphne Oakes ( Robert), Arnold Robert Dale Brown ( Justina), and Christopher George Cale; seven grandchildren, Selena Brown, Jay Brown, Hannah Moncrief, Dustin Brown, Desirae Brown, Charlie-Lynn Brown, and Hailey Cale.

Graveside services will be on Saturday, November 9th, 2024, at 11 AM from the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
