Obituary

Margaret Waddell Johnson, 91, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert Lee and Georgia Mae (Lucas) Waddell, husband L. B. Johnson, son John Dale Johnson, brother Eugene Everett, brother Beauford R., brother Robert Orlando, brother Rufus Calvin, Sr., brother John Edward, brother Robert Lee, Jr., sister Jessie Mae, sister Elsie Jean, and sister Charlotte Nell "Lottie".

Margaret was retired from the office of Dr. Charles Campbell after many years, and then worked at the Barrett Law firm in Lexington for a number of years as a receptionist.

Margaret is survived by her daughter Judy Evans of Autaugadille, Al, 5 grandchildren, 6 great- grandchildren and 3 great- great grandchildren and her sister Pat Ross of Florida.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Visitation was 1 p.m. til 1:45 p.m. at Mortimer- Southern Funeral Home in Lexington, Mississippi.
