Obituary

Ruth Fletcher Richmond

Ruth Fletcher Richmond, 100, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at her home in Lexington, Miss. Mrs Richmond was a retired school teacher, having taught at a number of
schools in Mississippi. The last two schools she taught at were Central Holmes in Lexington and
Yazoo City School in Yazoo City, Miss.

Mrs. Richmond was preceded in death by her husband, Sanders Richmond, parents
Clarence and Cassie Ruth Taylor Fletcher, and a brother, Charles Fletcher, and sister Mary
Katherine Fletcher McBride.

Mrs Richmond is survived by her two sons, Floyd ( Christine) Richmond of Stephenville, TX
and Tom Richmond of Bowling Green, KY.

Family requests memorials to the First Methodist Church in Lexington, Miss.

Funeral services and visitation will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 10 AM at the First Methodist Church in Lexington, Mississippi. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington, Mississippi.
