Thanksgiving 2020

Dear Friends of Lexington Odd Fellows Cemetery,

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite days of the year, because it reminds us to give thanks and count our many blessings. To those of you who have given of your talents and treasure to LOFC, we say thank you for your generous support. We could not have done it without your help and for that we are immensely grateful.

On December 1, 2020, LOFC will participate in #GivingTuesday, which is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world, The concept started in 2012 with the idea of having a day that encourages people to do good for others. The Tuesday after Thanksgiving was designated as the day of giving. Please be a part of #GivingTuesday by making your donation to LOFC on December 1, 2020.

The Photography Contest, which will be judged by the renowned and celebrated photographer, William Eggleston, set to close November 30, 2020, has been extended to January 31, 2021. If you have not submitted an entry/s, please consider placing an entry.

for many of us we will celebrate this very American holiday idfferently from holidays past, but however you mark this day, please know that the members of the board and LOFC's many volunteers join me in wishing you a happy and healthy day.
