Obituary

Addye A. Brannon

Funeral services for Mrs. Addye A. Brannon, 81, were held at 4 p.m. Friday from Southern Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Grady Hudson assisted by the Reverend L. C. Olander officiating. Interment was in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington.

Mrs. Brannon died Thursday at Greenwood Leflore Hospital where she had been a patient two days.

She had served as treasurer of the Tchula Garden Club for 16 years, and was treasurer of the WSCS of the First United Methodist Church of Tchula.

She is survived by her husband, B.B. Brannon of Tchula; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Wright of Cartage, Texas and Mrs. Virginia Busby of Simi, California; one brother, O. L. Autry, Carthage, Texas; and one granddaughter, Mrs. Terry Crosby of Hattiesburg.

Pallbearers were H. C. Waterer, Jr., W.F. Waterer, Bobby Gillespie, Frank Gwin, Jr., Lester Lyon, Gillie McKibben, John E. Hayes and Ellis Harris.
