Obituary
Mrs. Agnes B. King
Mrs. Agnes B. King, 90, passed away Thursday, January 10th, 2008 at St. Dominic Hospital, after a lengthy illness. Visitation will be from 9 am to 11 am, Saturday, January 12th at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home on Highland Colony Parkway in Ridgeland, with Funeral Services to follow. Burial will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington.
Mrs. King attended Colonial Heights Baptist Church where she had been Sunshine Chairman of her Sunday school class for many years. Everyone will remember her for her kind words and smile. Family and friends alike will surely miss her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Alvin King; and brother, Harry Bandy.
Mrs. King is survived by her son, John K. King, and wife, Lynn King, of Madison; daughter, Dr. Linda King, and husband, Ray Abou Elhosn, of Sanford, FL; sisters, Ruth Turner of Ridgeland and Dot Gann of Chattanooga, TN; four grandchildren, Kim Lindsey of Gulf Shores, AL, John King II of Madison, Katherine King of Los Angeles, CA, and William King of Jackson; four great-grandchildren, Lauren Phillips, Morgan and Madison Lindsey of Gulf Shores, AL and Avery King of Madison; numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Nichols Center, 1308 Hwy 51, Madison, MS 39110.
