Ann Ray Chapman

FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. - Services for Ann Ray Chapman of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Southern Funeral Home in Lexington.

Ms. Chapman, 67, died of heart failure Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2008, at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center.

Ms. Chapman was the owner and operator of a gravel business.

She is survived by her son, Donald R. Farmer Sr., of Greenwood; her daughter, Lacey Ann Gentry, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; her brother, Jack Ray, of Midway, Fla.; her sister, Melanie Gross, of Opp, Ala.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Joel Smith will officiate at the services.

Southern Funeral Home in Lexington is in charge of arrangements.

Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington.
