Anne Roach Lundy Henley
Funeral services for Mrs. Anne Roach Lundy Henley, 64, of Lexington were held Wednesday, June 17 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Lexington. Rev. Michael O’Brian officiated with interment held at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington.
Mrs. Henley, a native of Lexington, died Monday, June 15 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson.
She had been a homemaker, a Sunday School teacher of the senior ladies’ class, and served as president of the WMU at First Baptist Church in Lexington for 30 years.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Sidney Henley of Lexington; four sons, James C. Henley of Sarasota, Florida, Robert S. Henley, Jr. of New Orleans, Louisiana, Thad Henley of Kingwood, Texas and Mark Henley of Lexington; one daughter, Mrs. Anne Wilson of New Orleans, Louisiana; sisters, Mrs. Betty Maude White and Mrs. Inez Batson of Lexington; 8 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Len Ware, Robert Ware, Mike Lammons, Allen King, Calvin Moore, Jack Farmer, Reuben Netherland and W.W. Holder.
Honorary pallbearers were deacons of First Baptist Church in Lexington.
