Milton Applebaum died Friday, Sept. 27 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. He was 76.
A native of Lexington, Mr. Applebaum had been a resident of Vicksburg since 1946.
An army veteran of WW II, he had owned and operated Sherman Furniture Store in Utica for several years. He had served as a representative of Specialty Advertisements for many years retiring in 1990. Mr. Applebaum was a member of Wahabi Temple of the Shriners where he served in the Shriners Band. He was a member of the Anshe Chesed Congregation.
Survivors include: sons, Sol Applebaum and Herman Applebaum, both of Vicksburg; sister, Roslyn Levy of Vicksburg; and brother, Manuel Applebaum of Vicksburg.
Graveside services were conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30 in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington with Rabbi Steven Engel of the Beth Israel Congregation of Jackson officiating. Burial was under the direction of Fisher-Riles Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
