FLOYD AUTRY
Floyd Autry, 75, of Lexington died Tuesday, October 14, 2003 at University Hospital of Holmes County. Services were Saturday, October 18, 2003 at 2 p.m. at Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington with burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Bro. Mike OBrien and Bro. Larry Edwards officiated. Mr. Autry was the son of the late Clarence S. Autry and Sally Gelston. He was a retired lineman for Illinois Central Railroad, served as Deacon of Oregon Memorial Church, and was on the board of the Sand Hill Conservation League. Mr. Autry was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include: wife, Anna Lynn Autry of Lexington; one son, Mike Autry of Boise, Idaho; one daughter, Pam Hicks of Lexington; three sisters, Mrs. Ann Browning of Jackson, Mrs. Myrtle Self of West and Mrs. Bobbie Byrd of Bartlett, Tennessee; and 1 grandchild.
Active pallbearers were Douglas Self, Chris Self, Paul Autry, Tommy Mitchell. George Martin and Phil Williamson.
Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Charlie Sinclair and Dr. John Downer.
