Services For Mrs. D.C. Lundy January 25

Funeral services for Mrs. Bettie Pitchford Lundy were held Monday, January 25, at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Lexington, with the Reverend David Pratt officiating. Burial was in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, with Southern Funeral Home of Lexington in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lundy passed away in the Holmes County Community hospital January 24, after a stay of one week. The daughter of Augustus Pitchford, and Ann Newsom Pitchford, she was a native of Holmes County, and was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was 85.

Mrs. Lundy is survived by her husband, Mr. D.C. Lundy of Lexington; three daughters, Mrs. Ann Roach Henley, Mrs. Betty Maude White, both of Lexington, and Mrs. Adelia Inez Batson, of Bangkok, Thailand; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were R.S. Henley, Jack White, Roy Gelston, Ted Batson, Drew White, Bill White, Jim Henley and Thad Henley
