Obituary

E.D. Boyd

A Requim Mass for Ellis Douglas Boyd, 69, was held at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Jackson October 29 with Father Daniel officiating. Interment was in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington.

Mr. Boyd died at Baptist Hospital in Jackson October 27 after a three week illness. He was a retired construction worker and an affiliate of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

He leaves his wife Mrs. Margaret Boyd of Jackson; one daughter, Mrs. W.P. Hammett, of Lexington; one son, Douglas Body of Odessa, Texas; one sister, Mrs. A.O. McCrory, Alexandria, La., and three grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Bill McLellan, Tony Mansoor, H. Hammett, Aubrey Prevost and R.O. Ferguson.
