Obituary Mrs. Boyd Services Held August 30

Margaret Clara Boyd, 76, of Jackson died at her home on Thursday, August 28. A native of Little Rock, Arkansas, Mrs. Boyd was a homemaker, a widower, and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

A rosary service was held at 1 p.m. Friday and funeral services at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 30 at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Lexington with Father Daniel Nowak officiating. Interment was in Odd Fellows Cemetery.

She is survived by one son, Douglas Boyd of Odessa, Texas; one daughter, Mrs. Elsie Hammett of Lexington; two brothers, Herbert Muller and Basal Muller of Memphis, Tennessee; three sisters, Mrs. Agnes Mullen, Elsie Muller and Mrs. Marie McCrory of Memphis, Tennessee and three grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Fred Dunn, Homer Daniel, Mike Stark, M.E. Ginn, Sam Sample and Buddy Boyd.
