Francis V. Bridgers
Mrs. Francis V. Bridgers, 73, a retired school social worker of Itta Bena, died Tuesday, February 2, 1999 of heart failure at Greenwood Leflore Hospital in Greenwood.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 4 at Mortimer Funeral Home Chapel in Indianola. Rev. Richard Wiman officiated. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington.

Survivors include: husband, Sam Bridgers of Itta Bena; daughters, Skeetie Bridgers Griffin and Melinda Bridgera Andrus, both of Moorhead; and six grandchildren.
