Bryan James Martin
Graveside services for Bryan James Martin, 72, of Canton were held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, August 8 in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington. Officiating minister was Bryan James Martin, Jr.
Mr. Martin died of congestive heart failure Tuesday, August 6 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Jackson.
A native of Holmes County, he was a cross country truck driver, a World War II Navy veteran and a Baptist.
Survivors include: sons, Bryan James Martin, Jr. of Jackson; Charles Edward Martin of Escondido, Calif., Kevin Eugene Martin of Whitehaven; daughters, Lindy Lou Malone, Carolyn Jeanette Rawton, and Betty Jean Ray, all of Jackson; brother, Byron Charles Martin of Tchula; sister, Cora Sheppard of Tchula; and 12 grandchildren.
