Obituary
Dr. C. A. Moore
Dr. Claud A. Moore, 60, well known dentist and clinician, died at his home in Lexington early Saturday following a heart attack.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the family residence. Burial was in Lexington Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Dr. Moore was a native of Holmes County, born at West. He practiced dentistry at Lexington the past 30 years. His practical experience and knowledge gained nationwide attention and for years he held clinics before state and national associations and in Canada.

He was a member of the Lexington Rotary Club and past president. He served as president of the Mississippi Dental Association and was affiliated with the national group. He formed the Claud Moore Study Club that gave young and practicing dentists valuable information and also enabled hundreds of people in the lower income group to obtain dental service. He was an elder in the Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his wife Mrs. Willie Cain Moore; a daughter, Miss Meta Moore, member of the Lexington school faculty a son, C. A. (Bud) Moore, Jr., identified with the Jackson Airport, and three sisters, Mrs. W. W. Smithson of Jackson, Mrs. D. A. Backman of Winona, and Mrs. C. B. Alexander of West.
