Funeral services for David Sutton Wilson, 78, were held Friday afternoon at Southern Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Mr. Wilson, a retired oil company employee, died at his residence early Thursday morning.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the American Legion. He is survived by his sister, Miss Bess Wilson of Lexington with whom he had made his home.
Pallbearers were Alton Parker, Allie Povall, W. W. Broome, Malcolm Phillips, Bob Kealhofer, and H. H. Thomas.
Honorary pallbearers were members of Daniel Beall Post No. 18 of the American Legion.
