Obituary

Dianne Ray Ervin

Dianne Ray Ervin, 60, of Lexington, MS died Thursday November 28, 2013. Funeral services will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Lexington, MS on Sunday, December 1 with visitation starting at 1 pm. Funeral service will start at 2:30. Burial will be at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington.

A native of Canton, MS, she graduated from Canton High School in 1971. She married Watt Ervin in 1972 and spent the remainder of her life in Lexington. She worked at Farmers Grain Terminal in Belzoni, MS over 31 years.

She was preceded in death by her father, Aubrey Ray Sr. Her survivors include her husband Henderson Watt Ervin and daughter Bridgette Ervin Strickland: her mother Wonzie H. Ray, brothers and sisters-in-law Aubrey Ray Jr. (Jenny), Mitchell Ray, and nephews Trip and Casey Ray. She had two grandchildren, Madeline and Jonathan Strickland.
