Margaret St. Claire Diggs

Funeral services for Margaret (Peggy) St. Claire Diggs, 87, of Brandon were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 30 at Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington.

Rev. Andy Ray officiated with interment in Odd Fellows Cemetery Lexington.

Mrs. Diggs, a native of New York, died Sunday, November 29 at Lakeland Health Care Center in Jackson.

A homemaker, she had lived in Lexington most of her life until she moved to Jackson in 1973. Her husband, Herman Gill Diggs, preceded her in death. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Lexington.

Survivors include her daughter, Margaret Diggs Glorioso of Brandon, two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Kenny Strickland, George Dees, Hosea Grisham, Don May, W.P. McWilliams and Billy Russell.
