Wife of Sharkey Swinney and mother of Fred Shepherd Swinney. According to Dr. Banks Shepherd, nephew of Dora, Dora is buried in Pincrest Cemetery, Mobile, Alabama, where she was living at the time of her death. Dr. Shepherd also writes that Dora worked at Ellison's Department Store in Lexington, and "if you were around her long enough, she would have called you 'Doll Baby.'"
