Douglas Hager
Funeral services for Douglas Charles Hager, 56, of Lexington were held Thursday, December 7 at 10 a.m. from the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leslie Nabors and Paul Harper officiating.
Mr. Hager, a native of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, died at the Veterans Hospital in Jackson on Monday, December 4.
He was a truck driver, veteran of World War II and a Baptist.
Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Mary Hager of Lexington; a son, William D. (Pete) Hager of Lexington; a daughter, Kathy Hager of Bend, Oregon; a brother, Lero Hager of Durant; three sisters, Mardell Grunwald of Sun Valley, California; Freddie Kealhofer of Tchula and Shirley Woods of South Carolina; his stepmother, Mrs. Melvin Hager of Durant; and 2 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Earl Ellis, Bill McLellan, Charles Lee Truitt, Elmer Keith, Johnny Seymour and Shade Bethany.
