Obituary
James Malcolm Drennan, Jr.

Funeral services for James Malcolm Drennan, Jr., 78, of Ebenezer, Miss., will be held Saturday, April 2, 2011 with visitation from noon until 2 p.m at Southern Funeral Home in Lexington, Miss. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., following visitation, at Southern Funeral Home Chapel, with interment in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington. Bro. Billy Barron, Bro. Jimmy Hodges, and Bro. Bill Barrett will be the ministers at the service.

Mr. Drennan died on Saturday, March, 26, 2011 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital in Greenwood, Miss.

He was born November 11, 1932 in Louise, Miss., to parents James M. (Mac) Drennan and Ollie Ellison Drennan. He was the owner/merchant of Ebenezer Cash Grocery for 48 years, and a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Katie W. Drennan of Lexington; son Jimmy (Deborah) Drennan of Lexington; grandsons Jake (Hayley) Drennan of Lexington, John (Melissa) Drennan of Canton, Miss., and Thomas (Joelyn) Drennan of Manchester, New Hampshire; and great grandchildren, Anna and Maddie Drennan.
