Obituary
Georgene Crow Dunn

Georgene Crow Dunn, 82, affectionately known as Maw Maw, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2007 in Stockbridge, GA. Funeral services were held on Monday, November 12, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Southern Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment was in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington.

Mrs. Dunn was the daughter of George W. and Arrah T. Crow of Tchula. A graduate of Mississippi State College for Women, she was a teacher and a basketball coach. Before moving to Stockbridge, GA, she had been a resident of New Orleans, LA, where she and her husband founded Durward Dunn, Inc., a marine construction firm.

She was a charter member of Eastminster Presbyterian Church; and served on the advisory board for Montreat Presbyterian Conference Center and the Board of Directors of the Mississippi State University Development Foundation. She attended Morrow Presbyterian Church of Morrow, GA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Durward B. Dunn, Jr.; and a son, George Crow Dunn.

She is survived by Durward B. Dunn, III (Cathy) of New Orleans, LA; Gene Dunn Williams (Willis) of Metarie, LA; Susan Dunn Grant (Allen) of Stockbridge, GA; Paul R.M. Dunn (Janine) of Metarie, LA; John L. Hanagriff (Karen) of Mandeville, LA; and twelve grandchildren.
