Miss Edith McDaniel

Funeral services for Miss Edith Eloise McDaniel, 64, of Jackson were held Saturday, July 23 at 4:00 P.m. at First Baptist Church in Lexington. Rev. Mike O’Brien Officiated with interment in Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Miss McDaniel, a native of Holmes County, died Friday, July 22 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.

She was a professional church musician and a member of Galloway Memorial United Methodist Church in Jackson.

Miss McDaniel had retired in April 1986 as pianist of First Baptist Church in Lexington after 12 years of service. She moved to Jackson in June 1987.

She is survived by several aunts and uncles.

Pallbearers were Mickey McLellan, Bill McLellan, Jerry Evans, Shelton Stone, Robert Hand and Hugh Davis.
