Mrs. Edna Brown

Mrs. Edna Brown, 90, died Monday, October 2 at Lafayette, La.

Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, October 4 from Southern Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Bob Walley officiating. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Mrs. Brown was the daughter of S.J. Brown and Sally Meggs Brown. She was a native of Holmes County and a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Stella Stribling of Canton; one son, Doyle Brown of Carencro, La.; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Burkhardt of Lexington and Mrs. E.V. Patterson of Jackson; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Jimmy Rhymes, Andrew Brown, Bobby Courts, W.B. Patterson, W.A. Edwards and W.L. Spell.
