Recil Eldra Elledge
April 23, 1910 - May 10, 1994

Funeral services for Recil Eldra Elledge, 84, of Lexington were held Thursday, May 12 at Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington. Rev. Joe Hill was the officiating minister. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington.

Mr. Elledge died of heart failure on Tuesday, May 10 at Methodist Hospital of Middle Mississippi in Lexington.

A native of Booneville, he was a member of First Baptist Church in Lexington.

Survivors include: wife, Ruth Hammett Elledge of Lexington; son, Recil Hammett Elledge of Yazoo City; daughter, Fern Elledge Milstead of New Orleans; brother, James Elledge of Briston, Conn.; sister, Dorothy Jean Griffith of Pontotoc; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Serving as active pallbearers were Richard Hammett, Robert Hammett, Harold Dodd Hammett, Rob Hammett, Hal Hammett, and David McPhail.
