Obituary
Mrs. Kathryn Weiss Henrich Ellis
Funeral services for Mrs. Kathryn Weiss Henrich Ellis of Lexington were held from St. Thomas Catholic Church in Lexington at 10:00 a. m. Wednesday, February 19 with Father Daniel Novak officiating. Interment followed in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington with Southern Funeral Home of Lexington In charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Ellis died at Compere’s Nursing Home in Jackson on February, 17. She was a retired bank teller and officer and a native of Holmes County. She was 88 years old.

Mrs. Ellis was an employee of Holmes County Bank and Trust Company in Lexington for more than 50 years. She retired in 1981 and continued to work part time. She also served as vice president of the bank.

Survivors include her daughter in-law, Mrs. Ruth Meek of Lexington; a sister, Mrs. Julia Kendrick of Jackson; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Tommy Haffey, Byron Sharp, Sr., Billy Ellis, Bill Warrington, Ed Ellison and Doug Smith.
