Obituary
Kathryn Sharp Ellison
Kathryn Sharp Ellison, 80, died Monday October 30, 2006 at her residence in Tupelo. Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at First United Methodist Church in Lexington at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Skipper Maxwell officiating. Interment was in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington.

Mrs. Ellison was born in Holmes County on February 1, 1926, daughter of the late Walter H. Sharp and Thelma Thweatt Sharp. She was a retired Post Master with the U.S. Postal Service. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Ellison is survived by her husband, E. W. Ellison, Jr., of Tupelo; a son E. W. “Eddie” Ellison, III, of Albertville, Alabama; a daughter, Eleanor Ellison of New Albany; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
