Obituary
William Nesbeth "Billy" Ellison
Funeral services for William Nesbeth “Billy” Ellison, 62, of Lexington were held Wednesday, March 4 at 2:00 p.m. from First United Methodist Church in Lexington with Rev. Andy Ray officiating. Interment followed in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington.

Mr. Ellison, a parts man for Lexington Implement Company, died at Veterans Administration Hospital in Jackson on Tuesday, March 3. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Lexington and a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife - Mrs. Doris Thompson Ellison of Lexington; one daughter - Miss Sarah Ellison of Jackson; his mother, Mrs. Ethlyn Ellison of Lexington; three brothers - Jack Ellison, Charles Ellison and Edwin Ellison, Jr., all of Lexington; and one sister Miss Rebecca Ellison of Atlanta, Georgia.

Pallbearers were Ed Thurmond, Chick Weathersby, Harold Hammett, Jr., David Dillon, Mack Phillips, Camp Best, Holt Smith, and Billy Martin.
Honorary pallbearers were: Bud Hammett, Jack Yates, A.B. Holder, Dick Temple, Louis King, Bubba Humphrey, Fred Dunn, Homer Daniel, and Woodson Earle.
