Mrs. Emily M. Gordin Graveside rites were held for Mrs. Emily Miller Gordin, 94, of Tchula, Saturday June 4 at 3 p.m. at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington. Reverend C.J. Olander officiated.
Mrs. Gordin died June 3 at Holmes County Community Hospital.
She was born February 4, 1883 in Attala County. Mrs. Gordin was a member of Tchula Baptist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Terry Smith of Tchula; one son, Samuel E. Gordin of Ft. Smith, Ark.; one brother, W.B. Kosciusko; one sister, Mrs. T.D. Thornton of Kosciusko; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Stricklin-King Funeral Home of Yazoo City was in charge of arrangements.
