Services For Mrs. Shannon Held January 25 Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Beall Shannon, 83, of Memphis, Tenn., were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 25, from Southern Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Howard Allen officiating. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Mrs. Shannon died Tuesday, January 23, at Shelby County Hospital where she had been a patient for a day. A native of Holmes County and former Lexington resident, she was the daughter of Daniel W. Beall and Emma Alice Bowers.
Survivors are one brother, Dan P. Beall of Ellendale, Tenn., and two nieces, Miss Necie Gwin and Mrs. Amma McRae of Lexington.
Pallbearers were John Stuart Watson, John Kimbrough, Bob McLellan, Jack Yates and John Kimbrough, III.
