Erle Wayne Hanna Funeral services for Erle Wayne Hanna, 50, General Manager of Radio Station WJAM in Marion, Alabama, were held Saturday, March 8 at 10 a.m. from the Chapel of Kirk Funeral Home in Marion. The Rev. Asa Boozer and Bill Young officiated. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Erskine Jackson officiating.

Mr. Hanna died Wednesday, March 5, at Perry County Hospital after a long Illness. His voice was the first heard over WJAM in December 1951 when the station opened. He worked in radio and television for years having served in Marion, Meridian, Miss., Mobile, New Orleans, and Selma, returning to Marion in August 1971. He was a member of the Marion Presbyterian Church where he was serving as chairman of the Board of Deacons at the time of his death.

Survivors include his mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. E.A. Hanna of Marion, Ala.
