Young Eubanks was stricken while practicing for football on the Lexington High School field Tuesday afternoon. He died in Holmes County Community Hospital early Wednesday afternoon.

A cerebral hemorrhage, “not necessarily related to his football activities,” was the cause of death, according to the attending physician.

He would have been a junior in LHS this year.

The Reverend Crawford Ray officiated at the funeral with Southern Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
