Obituary
George William Ezell
Funeral services for George William Ezell, well known retired farmer and business man of Lexington, were held Friday, November 12 at 2:00 p.m. in Southern Funeral Home Chapel. His former pastor, the Rev. Leslie Nabors of Clarksdale was the officiating minister.

Mr. Ezell was born November 21, 1895 in Carroll County. His parents were the late Mr. Preston and Mrs. Mageline Riley Ezell. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Lexington and a veteran of World War I.

He is survived by a daughter, Miss Jewell Ezell of Lexington and a sister, Mrs. Leonard Dykes of Lucedale.

Interment was in Odd Fellows Cemetery with Southern in charge of arrangements.

Calvin Moore, Buddy Moore, Dr. John Downer, Billy Ellis, Billy Cash and Mack Grantham served as active pallbearers.
