BRANDON Mrs. Clara Dell Farmer, 96, a homemaker, died of cardiac arrest Wednesday at Crossgate Nursing Home.
Services are 11 a.m. today at Southern Funeral Home in Lexington with burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington.
Mrs. Farmer, a Lexington native, moved to Brandon in 1953. She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church in Jackson and the widow of Byrd Farmer.
Survivors include: daughters, Ann Byrd of Brandon, Margaret McCarty of Pearl, Virginia Decker of Phoenix, Ariz., Harriet Wood of Philadelphia and Patricia Farmer of Lumberton; sons, Herbert Farmer of West Point and Gary Farmer of Phoenix, Ariz.; sisters, Katie Mae Felts and Nell Brunner, both of Carrollton; brothers, Harry Teasley of Starkville and Edwin Teasley of Glasgow, Ky.; and 18 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
