LEXINGTON - Doris Nowell Famer, 77, a retired government employee, died of heart failure Saturday at St. Dominic/Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Services are 11 a.m. today at the First Baptist Church with burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Southern Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Farmer retired from the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lexington.
Survivors include: husband, Jack; sons, Billy Farmer and Dudley Farmer, both of Lexington; brother, Mickey Nowell of Madison; sisters, Mavis Rainey of Jackson and Martha Baranco of Memphis; and a grandchild.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, 200 Tchula St., Lexington MS 39095.
