Funeral Rites For Mrs. Fillyaw
Funeral services for Mrs. Fillyaw, 36, were held Friday, May 10th from the Southern Funeral Home chapel in Lexington, with the Reverend Knight officiating. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery with Southern Funeral Home in charge of services.

Mrs. Fillyaw died on May 9th in the Holmes County Community Hospital after a long illness.

She was born on June 25, 1926 and was a member the East Side Baptist Church. She had been an employee in the Henson Kirkernick factory in Lexington for a number of years.

Survivors are her father and mother, Robert Waddell and Mrs. Georgia Lucas Waddell; one son, David Henry Fillyaw; four sisters, Mrs. Luther McLellan of Durant, Mrs. L. B. Johnson of Lexington, Mrs. Joe Mitchell of Atlanta, Ga. and Mrs. Alton Allen of Stewart; six brothers, Eugene Waddell of Sallis, Buford Waddell of Jackson, Robert O. Waddell of Natchez, Rufus Waddell of Hattiesburg, John Waddell of Kissimime, Fla., and Robert L. Waddell, Jr. of Sledge.

Pallbearers were Fred Petty, Ben Murphy, Dutch Farmer, Olin Dunn, Marvin McLellan and Ed Barrentine.
