Obituary

Floyd Jefferson McNeer
Funeral services for Floyd Jefferson McNeer, 83, of Lexington were held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 1 at Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington. Rev. Andy Ray officiated with interment in Odd Fellow Cemetery in Lexington.

Mr. McNeer, a retired employee of the City of Lexington, died Saturday, October 31 at Greenwood-Leflore Hospital in Greenwood. He was a member of the Methodist Church and a World War II veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Susie Mae Martin McNeer of Lexington; and two sisters, Mrs. Vernice M. Williams of Lexington and Mrs. Annie Ethel Chapman of Raymond.

Pallbearers were Jimmy Bevill, Calvin Moore, Billy J. Gilmore, James Holeman, Doyle Gilmore and J.R. Gilfoy.
