Obituary
Frances W. Howard
Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Vera W. Howard, 79, who died Thursday after an illness at Holmes County Community Hospital, were held July 11 at 4 p.m. from Southern Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery with the Rev. E.S. Furr officiating.

Born in Pontotoc County, she has been residing in Holmes County where she was a homemaker. She was a Methodist.

Mrs. Howard was the daughter of the late Rev. William J. Wood and Susie D. Purvine. Her husband was the late John Thomas Howard.

Survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Duncan, South Haven and Mrs. Bertha Louise Mott, Jackson; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Cole and Mrs. Lucillie Russell, both of Memphis.

Pallbearers were: A. J. Davis, Bill Carpenter, Bob McClellan, Reuben Netherland, Calvin Moore and Johnny Wilson.
