Obituary
W. A. Freeman Rites Tuesday In Lexington
Funeral services for Walter A. Freeman, Sr., were held Tuesday at 2 p. m. in Southern Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend R. C. Nanney and the Reverend Wade Taylor officiating. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Mr. Freeman died at his residence in Memphis after a lengthy illness. Born and reared in Ca City, Mr. Freeman was former Rate Clerk.

He leaves his wife, Wanda Lehman Freeman of Memphis; two sons, Walter A. Freeman, Jr., of U. S. Army, and William Freeman of Memphis; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Mills of Whitehaven, Florida, and Mrs. Fannie Bergson of New Orleans; one brother, Crosby Freeman of Kansas City, Kansas; and grandchildren.
