Vernon Gilbert Bradley
Funeral services for Vernon "Gilbert" Bradley, 78, of Lexington, MS, were held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 25, 2009 at Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington with Bro. Larry Edwards, Elder Willie Hodges, and Bro. Lyn Nations officiating. Interment followed in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington.

Mr. Bradley, a native of Holmes County, died at University Hospital of Holmes County in Lexington, on Saturday, October 24, 2009. He was a member of Oregon Memorial Church and an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Bradley is survived by his wife, Dean S. Bradley, of Lexington and one son, Barry G. Bradley, of Lexington.

Pallbearers were: Clay Rodgers, Phil Williamson, Billy Zeigler, Sonny Russell, Charlie Bowie, and Billy Bradley.

Honorary pallbearers were: Zack Killebrew, Teat Rodgers, Harvey Hearn, Jimmy Bevill, Auburtin Swinney, Houston Pickett, James E. Killebrew, and Larry Killebrew.
