Obituary
Beatrice "Bea" C. Gilliland
Beatrice "Bea" C. Gilliland, 73, of Grenada died Saturday, January 4, 2003, at Grenada Lake Medical Center of heart failure. Services were Tuesday, January 7 at Stricklin-King Chapel in Yazoo City, with burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington. Rev. James F. Yates and Dr. Clarence Cooper, Jr. officiated.

Mrs. Gilliland was the daughter of Lenzie C. Caffey and Dora Holmes Caffey. She was a retired secretary from Miss. Chemical Corp. and a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include: two sons, Jerry Gilliland of Grenada and Barry Gilliland of Ruston, Louisiana; one daughter, Renee G. Taylor of Lexington; and 6 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie B. Gilliland, Jr.

Active pallbearers were: Cris Clark, Cliff Autry, Johnnie Aldridge, Brandon Carver, Wayne Harlow, Quint Carver, Brian Carver, and Danny Milner.
