Obituary
Mrs. Kathryn G. Gilliland
Mrs. Kathryn Gibson Gilliland, 77, of Lexington, widow of the late Leslie Beall Gilliland, died unexpectedly at her home Tuesday.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 9 from Southern Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Howard Allen officiating. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Mrs. Gilliland was a native of Lexington, a daughter of Jason Gibson and Lillie McMillan Gibson. She lived most of her life in Lexington and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by a granddaughter, Mrs. Renee Taylor of Tchula. and two grandsons, Jerry Gilliland and Barry Gilliland of Yazoo City; a nephew, Jimmy Phelps of Lexington; two nieces, Mrs. Frances Smith of Charleston, South Carolina and Mrs. Julia Elizabeth Cady of Urbano, Ohio; two great- grandchildren, Leslie Blair Taylor and B.T. Taylor III of Tchula.
