Obituary
Leonard E. Grantham

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 23 at 10 a.m. for Leonard E. Grantham, 71, of Lexington at Southern Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Mike O’Brien will officiate. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington.

Mr. Grantham died of natural causes at his home near Lexington following an extended illness.

A native of Holmes County, he was a retired carpenter and a member of Beulah Baptist Church. He was a World War II Navy veteran.

Survivors include: wife, Anthanette Bell Grantham of Lexington; sons, Anthony Grantham of Meridian, Dean Grantham and John Grantham, both of Lexington; daughters, Tanda Matthews of Lexington and Belinda Casias of Parker, Colorado; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Russell Fletcher, Mark Grantham, Richard Roberts, Melvin McBride, Hays Grantham, and Mack Grantham.
