Rufus A. Grantham
Funeral services for Rufus A. Grantham, 91, who died at his Lexington residence July 16, were held July 18 at 9:30 a.m. from Southern Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial was in Pleasant Ridge [Odd Fellows] Cemetery with Rev. G. T. Dukes officiating.
Mr. Grantham was a retired farmer and a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. He was the son of Rufus H. Grantham and Evlyn Tate.
Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Leni L. Grantham, Lexington; one son, Rufus Grantham, Lexington: four daughters, Mrs. Clara Pace, Lexington, Mrs. Frances Pickering, Taylorsville, Mrs. Earlene Pickering, Pascagoula and Mrs. Agnes Johnson, Greenville; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were: Mack Grantham, James Grantham, Melvin Grantham, Jr., Virgil Ingold, Don Buxton and Ricky Palmertree.
