Nellie Watson Gray
Mrs. Nellie Watson Gray, 87, a homemaker of Leland died of heart failure Tuesday, November 12 at her sons home.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, November 14 at Boone Funeral Home with burial at 1 p.m. in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington.
Mrs. Gray was a Holmes County native and a member of Lakeview Baptist Church. She attended Holmes County Schools. She moved to Leland in 1967 from Tchula. She was the widow of Zach Sutton Gray.
Survivors include: daughter, Edna Earl Bufkin of Brookhaven; sons, J. T. Gray of Leland and Zach S. Gray, Jr. of Lewisville, Texas; sisters, Ola DeSelle of Alexandria, Louisiana, Mae Beal of Pineville, Louisiana, Frances Snelser of Springfield, Louisiana, and Virginia Grisham of San Bernardino, California; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
