Rites Sunday For Mrs. Harrison In Lexington
Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Lee Harrison were held Friday morning at 10 a. m. in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home of Lexington with the Reverend Crawford L. Ray officiating. Burial was in Odd Fellow's Cemetery.
Mrs. Harrison died Wednesday night at the home of her son, Ernest Harrison, after an illness of several months. She was 79.
A native of Carroll County, she was a member of the Methodist Church.
She leaves two daughters, Mrs. H. H. Pitts of Senatobia, and Mrs. T. R. Taylor of Meridian; four sons, Ernest Harrison of Lexington, W. A. Harrison of Jackson, Jessie L. Harrison of Monroe, Louisiana, and Victor Harrison of Columbus, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Edna Baines of Kosciusko, Mrs. Annie Hodges of Durant, and Mrs. Belle Robinson of New Albany; seven brothers, Claude Cox, W. W. Cox, and Rufus Cox, all of Vaiden, Arthur Cox of Belzoni, Watson Cox of Black Hawk, F. H. Cox of Tchula, and Howard Cox of Greenwood; 23 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
