Lois Elliott Harvey
Memorial services for Lois Elliott Harvey, 74, of Winona were held at the Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington on Wednesday, Oct. 31 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Oscar Twitchell officiating, assisted by the Rev. Wilson Ray of Itta Bena.

Mrs. Harvey died Oct. 29, 1984, at the Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital and was buried in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington.

She was born in Carroll County and had lived in Winona since 1969. A homemaker, she was married to the late William A. Harvey. She is survived by one aunt and several nieces and nephews. The Southern Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Lois Elliott Harvey, 74, of Winona were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31 from the Southern Funeral Home chapel in Lexington with Rev. Oscar Twitchell and Rev. Wilson Ray officiating. Interment followed in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington.

Mrs. Harvey, a former resident of Acona, was a Methodist. She lived at Acona most of her life and operated a grocery store until she moved to Winona in 1969. She was a native of Carroll County.

Survivors include three nephews - Charles Elliott and William Elliott of Mesa, Arizona and Tommy Herod of Winona; an aunt - Mrs. B.F. Eubanks of Vaiden; and a sister-in-law - Mrs. Helen Elliott of Vaiden.

Pallbearers were Mac Phillips, Earl Daniels, Melton Parrish, Kenneth Parrish, Albert W. Tate and Frank Hughes.

Memorials may be made to Acona Methodist Church or to the Cancer Fund.
