Hazel Wilson

Mrs. Hazel Wilson, 83, a retired L.P.N. of Lexington, died Wednesday, November 7, 2001 as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Kosciusko.

Mrs. Wilson was a native of Sunflower County. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 9 at Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington with burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Officiating ministers were Rev. Doug Applegate and Rev. Lorance Frost.

Survivors include: two sons, Harrell Wilson and Dink Wilson, both of Lexington; one brother, Roland Kellum of West Memphis, Arkansas; sisters, Thelma Berry of Greenville, Gladys Austin of Leland and Christine Moore of Florida; four grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Serving as active pallbearers were: Stacey Wilson, Todd Wilson, Daniel Wilson, Ralph Tidmore, A.C. Tidmore and Robert Bergin. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Charles Campbell, Dr. John Downer, Robert Ware, and David Dillon.

Memorials may be made to a local church.
