Andrew James Hearn Andrew James Hearn, 85, a resident of Leland and a native of Holmes County, died at his residence on Saturday, April 7. He was a retired carpenter and a Baptist.
Funeral services were held on Monday, April 9 at 2:00 p.m. from the Southern Funeral Home chapel in Lexington with Rev. Sam Morris officiating. Burial followed in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington.
Mr. Hearn is survived by one daughter, Patsy Grey of Leland; five brothers, Samuel Hearn, Thomas Earl Hearn, Willard Hearn and Joe Ellis Hearn, all of Lexington and Marion Hearn of Pelahatchie; three sisters, Irene Ferrell of Lexington, Nannie Myrtle Zeigler of Benton and Mary Dell Fleming of Jackson: and four grandchildren.
Serving as active pallbearers were Lowell Ferrell, John Hearn, Jimmy Zeigler, Jody Zeigler, Louis Ferrell and Vivian Ferrell.
